Then we drove from Bangor to Acadia National Park which is about an hour drive.Īcadia National Park: This national park takes up almost one half of Mt. Once again, we started the morning with the free continental breakfast at the hotel. Our third day is all about Acadia National Park. Due to our terrible plan of getting hotels the day of, this hotel was less than ideal. However, the food that comes out of this little shack is amazing. Unfortunately, the famous Red’s Eats always has a LONG line. Red’s Eats: After a long day on the water, we were starving. ![]() I wish we saw some bigger whales, but you can’t control what you see! We were able to see minke whales, dolphins, puffins, tuna, and otter. They take you on a guided boat tour and point out all the marine life you see. Check it out to see the history of Maine’s ships.īoothbay Harbor: Boothbay Harbor is a bit off from U.S. When we went here, we just walked in and did a self-guided tour. This is the original store and it’s huge! Speaking of huge, check out the boot at the front of the building.īath: Next to the Maine Maritime Museum, is a shipyard with life size skeletons? of boats they used to make in Bath.
